Founded by Tom Stevens back in 2021 the Christian Coaching Card Company was the product of Tom finally coming to faith (his words!). Trying to live life as the world tells us we ‘should’ he was sleep-walking into burn out and depression. It was back in those dark days in October 2018 that Tom, bed bound with illness at the time, came to faith. With the support of his wife and two children, and his new church family, his recovery began and so did a passion to help others who are experiencing similar challenges.

Fast forward a few short years Tom left the corporate world in the middle of the pandemic, decided to retrain as a professional coach thanks to a talk at his local church which unpacked the “5 CS’s” from the world-renowned Alpha Course.  In some ways, this was an answered prayer Tom had for clarity on what to do next in life.  He was already in the process of applying to re-train as a Psychotherapist, but after submitting to the process of the 5 CS’s it transpired that professional coaching was the path in front of him.

Almost immediately Tom began work on creating a resource so that others could easily follow the same process by blending biblical wisdom with the process of making real life changing decisions: The Discernment Coaching Cards were born.

This first deck was followed swiftly by the first collection helping answer questions such as, ‘How do you apply your faith every day?’ (Everyday Deck), ‘How do you begin to discover your calling?’ (Purpose Deck), and ‘How do you deal with feeling betrayed or handling forgiveness?’ (Forgiveness Deck).

And, importantly, knowing where to look in the bible with references to scripture for every question!

Aimed at leaders, parents, coaches and groups, these resources are designed to easily equip people to help themselves and others to face everyday challenges with renewed confidence, blending faith with the power of coaching in ways that anyone can access.

Tom lives with his wife Karen, his two children Harvey and Jessica, and their new cat Pixie on the outskirts of Nottingham, UK.
